Synopsis
Dhamaal 4 brings back Bollywood’s chaotic treasure-hunting crew for a fourth outing, once again directed by Indra Kumar. The story follows the returning ensemble as they get pulled into a new pirate-themed chase — a supporting antagonist captures one of the group aboard a ship while trying to decode a map leading to a legendary treasure, setting off the usual spiral of miscommunication, double-crossing, and slapstick that the franchise is built on.
The film reunites Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi from earlier instalments, joined by a large supporting cast including Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and Esha Gupta. True to the series’ formula, the humor leans on chaotic set pieces and callback gags to the original 2007 film rather than a tightly plotted story.
Released theatrically on July 10, 2026, Dhamaal 4 opened solidly and crossed ₹100 crore in domestic net collections by its ninth day, going on to become one of the higher-grossing Hindi releases of the year despite a mixed critical reception — reviews were split between calling it a harmless, energetic entertainer and criticizing it for leaning too heavily on the franchise’s earlier beats without adding much new.
